I hired both motor and sailing boats across Meds through different brokers and from various local boat renters with mixed experience. This time with SamBoat and their local partner Daniele in La Spezia ( Liguria, Italy). I left 5 stars for both SamBoat and Daniele as well deserved for their overall service. SamBoat for finding me a motor boat in a designated location within my budget where other brokers failed. For their communication and transparency in the hiring process. 5 stars to Daniele for his lovely welcoming attitude, professionalism in handling the boat. The boat was well maintained and clean. Rented the boat for one full day, returning the next morning after anchoring in a small cove. The boat has plenty of space below for sleeping and was just what we wanted for a day sailing up and down the beautiful coast. Gian Paolo’s associate Stefano who did the handovers was lovely and very helpful. I don’t speak Italian and Stefano had limited English but we managed to communicate quite well via translation apps!

Great company to rent from. Very easy and the boat was well maintained and no issues. Would happily rent again. We have a lovely day exploring the islands with a picnic lunch and some swimming. Even in April it was warm enough.

Esposito and Fabrizio were friendly, helpful, competent and relaxed. The boat fit our 5 adults, packed lunch and swimming gear. We went to see Riomaggiore and Manarola via a detour around the islands of Arcipelago Spezzino. Plenty of time.
