At SamBoat, we are building a community of trust guaranteed by several tools:
A system of having a Sailing CV allows the renter to attest to his experiences at sea. The owner is free to accept or refuse a rental based on the renters Sailing CV.
After each rental, the owner and renter rate each other on SamBoat. This allows you to note the quality of the boat and the seriousness of the user.
The identity of the user, their licence and their phone number can be verified by the SamBoat team in order to increase the authenticity of user profiles.
The regulation of the rental and the security deposit are online and completely secure. With this tool, you are guaranteed to be paid.
In order not to lose the amount of the security deposit in the event of a claim, you can use the security deposit insurance. Subscribed at the time of booking or afterwards, this insurance allows you to refund the amount debited from the security deposit following an accident. With this insurance, you will still have to leave a security deposit but the insurance will compensate you if the security deposit is debited by the owner.
This insurance reimburses you the amount paid for your reservation if you have to cancel or interrupt your rental. This insurance must be taken out at the time of booking payment. Covered reasons: Illness, accident, redundancy, inability to travel to the place of stay, theft of your documents, changes in holidays, transfer, natural disaster, terrorist attack, riot, as well as in case of stay interruption.
10% of the amount of damages with a minimum of € 500 and a maximum of 1 000 €.
