I offer my sailboat for rent , a Bavaria 51 named Elaia ,spacious marine sailboat which allow you to enjoy the pleasures of sailing in the Antilles during your rental from the marina Bas du Fort in Pointe à Pitre.
With or without skipper, for a family or a group of friends, you'll have the possibility to sail between PAP, Les Saintes, and discover beautiful landscapes , beaches, and restaurants that Guadeloupe has to offer to you , and even push adventure to Martinique, ST Martin, ST Barthelemy, la Dominique .
Very comfortable and friendly with his spacious aft skirt, the sailboat Elaia can accommodate up of 10 people max including 8 beds.

We had a wonderful vacation aboard Elaïa. Our interactions with David were seamless and friendly.
We were 4 adults and 4 children on board for a 2-week bareboat charter.
The boat is very well equipped for daily life and offers ample space and storage. The water reserves are sufficient with reasonable use. Regarding the electricity, we had a slight problem recharging the batteries because the engine wasn't working, but David is going to fix it. We managed to last 15 days using only the solar panels.
It should be noted that the draft doesn't allow us to enter any port (other than Pointe-à-Pitre) to refill our water, electricity, and diesel tanks.
In terms of navigation, the boat handles very well and is easy to handle. We were missing a wind vane and anemometer, so we sailed by eye, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à bord d'Elaïa. Les échanges avec David ont été fluides et sympathiques.
Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants à bord sur 2 semaines en location sans skipper.
le bateau est très bien équipé pour la vie quotidienne et offre suffisamment d'espaces et de rangements. Les réserves en eau sont suffisantes avec un usage raisonné. Pour l'électricité nous avons eu un petit problème de recharge des batteries avec le moteur qui ne fonctionnait pas mais que David va réparer, nous avons réussi à tenir les 15 jours juste avec les panneaux solaires.
Il faut prendre en compte que le tirant d'eau ne permet de rentrer dans aucun port (autre que Pointe à Pitre) pour recharger en eau, élec et gazoil.
Côté navigation le bateau se comporte très bien et est facile à prendre en main. Il nous manquait un retour girouette et anémomètre donc nous avons navigué à l’œil mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter.
