Crystal clear water and amazing views on every spot we went to. All places worth visiting, but Vis, Hvar and blue lagoon really caught my attention.

we love the Hvar sailing area. Vis was one of our highlights but you can get a contrast between busy port to remote anchoring.

Very good. Friendly, good hand over and the boat was everything I was hoping for. It was clean and tidy and everything worked (apart from the occasional tripping of the anchor windlass, but resetting the trip switch had it working again). Good to drive and powerful. Very good in choppy seas which we had for some of the day. We hired the jobe tube which was amazing fun!! The boat is quite thirsty (€250 for the day) but well worth it. Highly recommended and good service and communication.

WE were very satisfied and pleased with the attitude and professional service provided by this company. The hand over and return were simple and straight forward. Any minor issues were quickly and satisfactorily dealt with. The yacht was clean and tidy when collected and was returned in the same condition. An added personal touch by the owner was to leave fresh figs and liqueur on the saloon table as a welcome; very much appreciated. We would definitely use this company in the future and recommend them to all our friends and sailing acquaintances. Bob Burns On behalf of the ROMEOS sailing group.

We had a fantastic day with Karlo as our skipper. He was very informative and helpful. He took us to some beautiful locations and also reserved a table at a lovely restaurant for our lunch. The boat was clean and tidy with plenty of room for 6. Thank you for a very enjoyable day.

Had a great experience with Antonio. Antonio was super responsive to all questions pre holiday. The boat handover was on time and he covered all areas needed. As for the boat we chartered the Protagon Yacht 25 over 8 days we traveled over 200miles. The boat performed exceptionally well in all sea conditions carrying four passengers and baggage to different islands and overnight destinations. Can’t fault the boat or service. We had a brilliant holiday made better by chartering a great boat. Thanks Antonio.

In the area, most people will start their charter either from Split or Trogir depending on the type of boat they would like to rent. Its geographic location makes it very easy to plan an itinerary along the Adriatic coast.

If you're hiring a yacht, start from Trogir to see the small quiet villages or islands. The islands showcase some of the most beautiful sights with their pristine nature. If you're looking for a lively destination, then head to Pakleni Islands and stop by Hvar.

Do I need a licence to hire a yacht in Trogir?

If you hire a yacht in Trogir, you need to follow the same regulations as anywhere else in Croatia. If you hire a bareboat in Trogir, you will be asked to demonstrate a valid boating license, a VHF certificate and a nautical CV. These certificates are mandatory to have if you hire a boat and you can be asked to show them at the port or any other place.

For motorboats, you have to follow the same regulation, so to present a valid license. Don’t worry if you don't have these documents, because, for most of the most, you have the option to hire a skipper. The skipper is skilled to control the boat and also local in the area, therefore can show you hidden places in and around Trogir. You can escape the crowded beaches and enjoy the secret bays in the area.

Overview of Trogir

Trogir is a beautiful, unique and historical Croatian city located on the Adriatic coast. Situated near Split, Trogir is a destination in Croatia that must be included in any itinerary. Its uniqueness comes from the fact that the city is divided in two with the old town lying on an island that is connected by a bridge to the mainland. Even if you're renting a boat in Split and sailing to Trogir, it is mandatory to stop here. If you're planning to hire for a longer period, then you'll also have the opportunity to sail to Hvar.  Not far from Hvar, you'll be able to visit the thriving city of Makarska. Over the past few years, boat hires in Makarska have been on the rise due to the beautiful scenery.

Furthermore, the old town is famous for the combination of Romanesque, baroque and Renaissance buildings. The form of these different styles makes the city exceptionally stunning and unique, and it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Even though it is a smaller town, it is full of charm and scenic views.

We highly recommend spending a lovely day walking around the town to see all the amazing sites that the city has to offer. We suggest seeing the St. Lawrence Cathedral in Romanesque-Gothic style which serves as one of the most impressive monuments and the old Fortress Kamerlengo.
