We had an absolutely amazing day on the catamaran with Jani and Tanja! The boat is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. We stopped in a gorgeous bay near Anfi del Mar, where we could swim, snorkel and use the SUP boards and inflatables. There are even two speakers on board so you can play your own music. Tanja took wonderful care of us with drinks and a delicious lunch, while Jani was a fantastic skipper. Together they told us about the beautiful places along the coast. On the way back we stopped in another lovely bay for more snorkelling. Jani and Tanja are incredibly warm and kind people with a real passion for sailing. The whole trip felt relaxed, personal and special. Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday! We will absolutely book again when we return to Gran Canaria. Highly recommended!

WOW WOW WOW From the start of the enquiring to the day we were arriving the communication was perfect, questions were answered with in an hour and also very clear. On arrival we were greeted by 2 members of staff who were very pleasant throughout the whole trip ! The staff could not do enough for us and gave good advice on what journey to take. On our journey back we saw Dolphins which we were all very excited about, they slowed the boat down so we could get a good look, take photos and have a wonderful experience watching the them. I would recommend this boat 100% and will definitely book again if we return back to Ibiza. We can't Thank You all enough for a fantastic trip especially as we were celebrating a special Birthday.

From start to finish we had a great day - Jousou was a wonderful captain and we very much enjoyed his company and sailing experience. Gentle sail over to Formentera and managed to secure us a booking for lunch at Tanga. Couldn't have asked for more. Communication from the charter service was excellent and pick up location easy to find. Would have happily stayed on board for the rest of the week. Next year would love to spend a few days sailing around Ibiza.

I cannot recommend this catamaran rental enough. We had amazing time on the water! The communication was excellent, the boat was in great condition, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Our captain was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. He also helped arranging a lovely lunch for us in Formentera. Will definitely book again!

Menorca is a beautiful island with superb anchorages both to the south and north. Be careful with a catamaran on the price of the buoys, we were a little surprised to pay €90 for a buoy facing Colom Island on the East.
Minorque est une ile magnifique avec des mouillages superbes tant au sud qu'au nord. Attention avec un cata sur le prix des bouées, nous avons été un peu surpris de payer 90 € pour une bouée face à l'Ile Colom sur l'Est.

Sailing between Tarragona and Menorca in September is undoubtedly a fascinating experience, but it is essential to keep a close eye on the weather forecast to avoid unpleasant surprises. Bad weather can be unpredictable at this time of year, and safety must always be the priority. As for the boat, it is good to know that it performed excellently even in 34 kt winds. However, it is true that with such high wind intensity, the 49 hp engine is somewhat limited. In these conditions, sailing skills become crucial in order not to overly lengthen the crossing. Despite the intensity and duration of the crossing, which can last around 28 hours, the trip is a unique and memorable experience that deserves to be experienced at least once. The combination of a robust boat and good sailing technique can turn a challenging crossing into an unforgettable adventure. Definitely a trip that leaves a mark!

Spain is located in the southwest of Europe and is bordered by countries like France and Portugal. Spain and Portugal form the Iberian Peninsula, which is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. Spain has thousands of kilometres of coastline and long sandy and pebble beaches. The most popular areas are the coves of Andalusia, the beaches of Catalonia and the world-famous Balearic Islands. Charter a boat in Spain and create an itinerary to see all the beaches and the Canary Islands. Sailing in Spanish waters is the best way to see the most beautiful sunsets.

The best way to enjoy Spain and its coastline is to hire a catamaran. If you hire a catamaran you can easily visit the most touristic cities and islands in this country. How much does it cost to hire a catamaran in Spain?

The price of chartering a boat in Spain can vary depending on the season. If you want to hire a catamaran, the average price will be around 150 euros per day during the low season. Prices may increase during the high season, be aware that the high season months are June, July and August. If you want to hire a boat during these months we recommend you to look two months in advance and start the hire process as soon as possible.

Do you need a license to hire a catamaran in Spain?

There are many factors to consider when renting a boat in Spain. Depending on the type of boat you want to rent, you will require a licence. If you hire a catamaran, you will need a licence only if the boat is more than 5 metres in length.

If you don’t have a licence or sailing experience you can hire a boat with a skipper. Having a skipper is that most skippers are locals and know the region like the back of their hand. Ask the skippers for suggestions on local restaurants and hidden coves for an even better sailing route.
