In the event that the Charterer must cancel more than 60 days before the charter begins, Charterer shall have up to 12 months to rebook for no additional fee. If Charterer notifies the owner less than 60 days before the start date, Charterer shall still have 12 months to rebook, but a rebooking fee of $1,500.00 USD shall be charged. If the Charterer does not reschedule the charter 60 days away from the end of the 12 month rescheduling period, this contract shall be deemed null and void and the Owner shall have no further liability whatsoever to the Charterer. Charter Fees will be applied as a credit toward another charter to take place on mutually agreed dates within 12 months of the original charter period, outlined in this agreement. Major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year’s and Easter shall be excluded unless the original charter period falls over the same holiday or is mutually agreed between the Charterer and Owner. In the event that the Charterer cannot complete the charter within 12 months of the original charter dates, a $1,500 extension re-booking fee can be applied to safeguard the charter fees for a further 12 months under these outlined terms. If the Owner must cancel, the Owner shall refund all monies received directly to the Charterer, less any Charter Broker or Travel Agent commission associated with this booking.
Excluding SamBoat service fees. The refund of these depend on the reason and are at the discretion of the platform.
