Before you make a booking, we would like to share our rental terms with you to ensure everything is clear, allowing you to enjoy your holiday with peace of mind. Our Expectations: Responsible Sailing: We expect you to treat the cruiser with respect and sail safely, adhering to all relevant rules and regulations. Clean Return: We kindly ask you to return the boat clean and tidy, just as you received it. No Pets and No Smoking: To maintain the boat in excellent condition, pets and smoking are not allowed on board. Experience Required: To safely operate the cruiser, we expect you to have some boating experience. If needed, we can provide a short instruction beforehand. To protect both you and us, we apply the following cancellation terms for renting our Lauwersmeer Cruiser: 1. Cancellation by the Renter: Up to 30 days before the rental period: You will receive a 100% refund of the rental fee, minus an administrative fee of €50. Between 30 and 14 days before the rental period: You will receive a 50% refund of the rental fee. Within 14 days before the rental period: No refund is possible unless we can re-rent the cruiser for the same period. In that case, you will receive a 75% refund of the rental fee. 2. Cancellation by the Owner: If we, for any reason, have to cancel the booking (e.g., due to technical issues or force majeure), then: You will receive a 100% refund of the rental fee and the security deposit. We will, if possible, offer you an alternative date or a comparable boat. 3. Changes to the Reservation: Would you like to change the rental period? That’s possible, depending on availability: Up to 14 days before the rental period: You can change the rental period at no cost. Any price differences will be adjusted accordingly. Within 14 days before the rental period: Changes are only possible if we manage to re-rent the original period. 4. Weather Conditions: Sailing depends on the weather. We cannot cancel or reschedule the rental period due to bad weather, except in cases of extreme weather conditions that make sailing dangerous (such as storm warnings).
