Embark! | At 8 am, you are there, on the pontoon. First contacts, your suitcases loaded before you, and finally your bare feet on the deck make you feel the call of the open sea. After introductions, you got your bearings while, around 9 am, we leave the port. | As we move away from the coast and the land disappears, gradually your perception of time changes and suddenly you are there, you are part of it, you are in symbiosis with this fabulous world that is the sea. | This night will be special between dream and reality: far from any light pollution, you discover the light of the stars and the moon and very often, the dolphins, surrounded by bioluminescent plankton, surround us. It is at the end of this first night together that we discover at sunrise, a land on the horizon. Distance, however, is a suggestive notion. By late morning, we have reached Minorca and deserve this stopover. The land is discovered differently when coming from the sea. | We arrive on the west side of the island of Minorca to discover the beautiful port of Ciutadella de Menorca. Minorca, this small, incredible and exceptional island was recognized as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO on October 8, 1993. You let yourself be carried away by the crazy charm and the peaceful atmosphere of this very photogenic city. Overlooked by an imposing cathedral, it has an indefinable appeal. You can stroll through the narrow streets of its old quarter and admire its palaces and lordly houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. | The next day, a short sail and a swim on the beautiful beach of Cala Galdana, in the south of the island. | On Wednesday, departure around 9 am for a sail along the coast following the GR223 trail commonly known as the "Cami des Cavals", we anchor in a cove near two of the most beautiful beaches on the island: Cala Macarella and Cala Turqueta. In the evening, we head to the port of Mao-Mahon. If you feel like it, you can go out to La Cova d'en Xoroi, a cave turned into a nightclub, to party while enjoying an exceptional show. | So it is on Thursday that we must leave this little paradise. | After another night at sea, we unveil the dawn over Sète. | At 4 pm, we are there, intoxicated by the beauty of all this biodiversity, our hugs are sincere and friendly. At 6 pm, after having a last drink, we part ways with the feeling of having lived an incredible experience
Embarquez!
