The Courlis is a reasonably sized, light and easy to maneuver sailboat. It easily allows a day trip on the Erdre to Sucé (6 people max), or even a night on board (4 people max). It is powered by a fairly quiet 6hp outboard that does not require a permit. (participation in engine costs are 3€/h) If the wind allows it, you can easily unroll the genoa and hoist the mainsail, or even the spinnaker if you want. It is moored at the quai de la Jonelière, with free parking and access by bus. I maintain it regularly to use it myself. I can demonstrate basic maneuvers if needed. Its size and weight allow good control, good ultimate stability. The philosophy of the boat takes up most of the orientations of the Group Finot: Good stability, Easy helm, Ergonomics at the helm and Ergonomics of maneuver thanks to the inclined backrests, the return of the halyards to the cockpit, with good forward view. The innovation on this boat was to make a lifting keel (0.65-1.5m) with three bearings. The latter is therefore of a good behavior, of a good rigidity. =========================================== Instant booking The calendar is kept up to date and it is possible to make an instant reservation; but the availability of an owner to show you its use is not guaranteed. In addition, the handling is not as simple as a small electric boat, be aware that your responsibility is engaged at least up to the deposit, or even more if the insurance considers that your responsibility may be engaged, in particular in case of absence of license (which is not mandatory) or prior experience.
