Stromboli, Panarea and Salina are important destinations. A start from Palermo with a city tour before and after the sailing trip is recommended. The relaxed and inexpensive journey by (new) train to Capo d'Orlando is also recommended. By taxi or shuttle you would pay up to €400 per trip. By train it is only €14 per person. There are even taxis that cooperate with the port and take sailors to and from the port for €5 per person.

Pietro was super helpful before we hired the boat, providing lots of information. They advised us well on using the boat, and what to visit on the Aeolian Islands too. We had a great trip! The boat itself was in v good condition too

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a boat trip through the breathtaking Aeolian Islands in Sicily, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Excellent boat, making the journey both intimate and comfortable. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly our skipper and helper. Massimo and his Colleague were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were all enjoying ourselves. Massimo’s extensive knowledge about the Aeolian Islands was impressive and contagious. Massimo’s expertise in navigation was clear, making the journey feel smooth and secure. His professionalism and experience allowed us to fully relax and soak in the stunning scenery, from the crystal-clear waters to the dramatic cliffs. Overall, this boat trip was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and discovery, largely thanks to Massimo. If you’re considering exploring the Aeolian Islands, I highly recommend doing so by boat and with a guide as knowledgeable and kind as ours.

This is the fourth time we have sailed in the Aeolian Islands and it is always a great pleasure even if we would like to have a little more wind.

Lipari and Vulcano are beautiful to visit, absolutely better by boat to enjoy beaches that are difficult or inaccessible from land.
