My deposit was debited even though I took out the damage waiver, what can I do?

In case of a claim, the security deposit managed by SamBoat is debited and held in escrow on an account in the owner's name pending the investigation of the claim.

If you wish to provide additional information for your claim, you can contact the claims department at damage@samboat.com.

If you have subscribed to the security deposit buyback insurance, you must report the incident and open a claim directly with Gritchen.

All the necessary details for your claim are provided in the email sent to you by Gritchen during your confirmation. If the reason for the claim is covered, the insurance will reimburse you once the claim is processed, and upon presentation of a paid repair invoice.
