When renting a sailboat, batteries play a fundamental role, unless you're going to a marina. Departure at 2 PM, anchor at 7 PM, and batteries ashore at 11 PM. For 6 days, we had problems despite using the engine for about 4 hours a day, and at anchor, the engine was running to recharge them in the middle of the night. Under sail, the electronic controls would cut out after a few hours, having to use both motor and sail at the same time. You can buy a 24-liter boat, spending more to avoid these problems, and instead... the rest of the boat is fine, but the charter company's reliability is a 0. I would have been happy with an assumption of responsibility and a token refund, but instead they responded to the broker with a completely made-up story, COMPLETELY! We didn't report any damage, but it was dark at checkout and they didn't see it, etc. Malfunctions can happen, but if there's no reputable charter behind it, it's truly a disgrace.
Quando si noleggia una barca a vela le batterie, se non si va per marine, rivestono un ruolo fondamentale. Partenza ore 14, alle 19 all’ancora, alle 23 batterie a terra. Per 6 giorni abbiamo avuto problemi pur facendo circa 4 ore al giorno di motore, in rada motore acceso per farle ricaricare in piena notte. A vela i comandi elettronici staccavano dopo poche ore dovendo andare a motore-vela assieme. Si prende una barca del 24 spendendo di più per evitare questi problemi e invece.. per il resto barca ok ma serietà del charter voto 0. Mi sarebbe bastata una assunzione di responsabilità e un simbolico rimborso invece hanno risposto al mediatore con una storia totalmente inventata, TOTALMENTE! Di danni che abbiamo fatto inesistenti ma al check out era buio e non hanno visto ecc. malfunzionamenti possono capitare ma se dietro non c è un charter serio.. veramente una vergogna.
