If you were ever wondering what the mid Adriatic offers, renting a speed boat is the perfect way to discover it. With this Quicksilver 555 and it’s 115 hp motor you’ll be able to see all the sights we recommend. You can rent it with or without a skipper and have the perfect active holiday with your family or friends exploring and enjoying the clear blue sea. What should you visit? There are a couple of islands close to Ugljan, which is pretty special itself. Iž – a small, picturesque island is surrounded by Knežak, Rutnjak and Fulija, uninhabited islands which are perfect if you are looking for some quiet time for yourself and your friends and family. All you can hear there are crickets chirping and waves hitting the shore. Pretty amazing! Dugi Otok is a much bigger island than these and it has an impressive Nature Park called Telašćica which you must see. Since we’re on the topic of protected areas in Croatia, one of our most famous National Parks, Kornati is also super close to Ugljan. Kornati is a National Park with around 140 islands, smaller and bigger ones, which all have a similar look to themselves. Olives and stone walls around them are pretty special to see. These islands are also uninhabited except during the season when some restaurants are open and serve the most amazing, fresh fish and lobsters. If you wish to explore this area with a skipper the additional cost is 120 EUR. In that case you dont have to pay damage deposit in amount of 500€ (skipper carry about boat). Please come without pets.
