Unfortunately, this time we were very dissatisfied with the chartered Cat Smart, which we had already had a year previously.
When we checked in, we were informed that the previous crew had two dogs on board and that the yacht was completely covered in dog hair, which required an extended, thorough cleaning. The actual handover took place at around 4:00 p.m. The problem of dog hair was largely solved. However, what we only noticed when we moved into the cabins was a bestial stench of dog pee in two cabins. Only with a lot of airing and spraying air freshener was it even possible to stay in the cabin. I am not familiar with current practice regarding pets on board, but I would like the charter company to consider allowing pets on board. To report something positive: the Cat Smart was otherwise in good condition and the trip was very enjoyable.
Leider waren wir diesmal sehr unzufrieden mit der gecharterten Cat- Smart , die wir schon 1 Jahr zuvor hatten.
Beim Check In wurde uns mitgeteilt das die Vorgänger -Crew 2 Hunde an Bord hatte und die Yacht komplett mit Hundehaaren übersäht war ,was eine verlängerte gründliche Reinigung erforderlich machte. Um ca. 16:00 Uhr war dann die eigentliche Übergabe . Das Problem der Hundehaare war soweit erledigt. Was allerdings erst mit Bezug der Kabinen wahrgenommen wurde war ein bestialischer Gestank nach Hundepisse in 2 Kabinen. Nur mir viel Lüften und versprühen von Duftstoff war der Aufenthalt in der Kabine überhaupt möglich . Ich weiß nicht um die gängige Praxis bezüglich Haustiere an Bord würde mir aber wünschen das sich die Vercharterer überlegen sollten Haustiere an Bord zuzulassen . Um auch was Positives zu berichten : die Cat- Smart war sonst in einem guten Zustand und der Törn war sehr schön .
